Provincial - Pee Wee A Provincial Team

Information

As we had a short players meeting at practice on Friday, I was looking at the notes. The things I went over with the kids are the same things I expect from the parents. I will address this again at the parents meeting, but I am publishing it on here also. This should go for all parents, not just with this hockey team. I expect my players to respect the coaching staff, the other players, and the officials. If there is an official issue the coaching staff will deal with it appropriately. As a fan, you have the right to voice your opinion, make your point and let it go. Another thing I stress is who you represent. You represent your community, your team, and yourself. Be respectful. I want to have someone tell me, 'It was a pleasure to have your team and fans here.' Not only are we trying to make better hockey players but more importantly we are helping them grow as better people. Let these kids have a positive atmosphere to do this in. Lead by example. The last thing I will mention is I have until Early Dec to finalize my roster. If Derek and I feel that there is a player that is causing a significant problem, I will get rid of the problem. This team plays very minimal games and I told the kids our goal is to win provincials. We dont need any distractions. As a coaching staff, we will also conduct ourselves appropriately and will also be held accountable. If you want to call me and discuss, feel free.

I have blocked off 18 rooms at the Super 8 in Kindersley. It is under Battlefords Barons - Todd Heck. Please do that as soon as you can. Thanks.
