Novice Tournament Schedule

 

Game 1	8:00 - 9:15	Maidstone	vs	Turtleford
Game 2	9:15 - 10:30	Spiritwood	vs	North Battleford
Game 3	10:30 - 11:45	Lloydminster	vs	St. Walburg
Game 4	11:45 - 1:15	Spiritwood	vs	Turtleford
Game 5	1:15 - 2:45	North Battleford	vs	St. Walburg
Game 6	2:45 - 4:15	Maidstone	vs	Lloydminster

All games in MST Time (AB Time)

 

1. Games are 3 straight time periods, two 20 minute periods and one 15 minute period.
2. Ice will be flooded every 2 periods.
3. Should a penalty occur, they will be 3 minutes- straight time.
4. In the event of a tie, there will be a shootout. Each team sends 3 players to shoot. If it remains a tie after the three players shoot, then the shootout will continue one shooter from each team until a winner is decided. A shooter can only be used once, until the entire team is used.
5. Please be prepared for the tournament to go ahead or behind schedule.
6. After each game, players will line up on the blue line for the Heart and Hustle awards.
7. There is a prize table in the warm room upstairs - Prizes will be drawn at 1:00 PM (MST)
8. There is zero tolerance for verbal abuse of the officials.
9. 50/50 will be available throughout the tournament- $5 a square
