Spectator Information

Nov. 12 - 2020

Hello U9 Parents and Coaching Staff

First of all I want to thank all the Covid coordinators.  With covid numbers rising in the province and in our community it is pivotal to keep our contact tracing and mask policies on the right track.  So thank you for all your hard work.

We will have our first official games on November 20th and 21st. Please read the important points below on spectators allowed for games and practices going forward:

#1 - SPECTATORS

The Arenas are as follows:

Don Ross - 50 Spectators (EACH TEAM IS ALLOWED "24" SPECTATORS PER TEAM THATS IT. NO EXCEPTIONS)

Team Sharks - 11 Players - 2 Spectators per player PLUS *2 extras by pre-request ONLY*

Team Maroon - 13 Players - 1 Spectators per player PLUS *11 extras by pre-request ONLY*

Team Black - 13 Players - 1 Spectators per player PLUS *11 extras by pre-request ONLY*

Team Yellow - 13 Players - 1 Spectators per player PLUS *11 extras by pre-request ONLY*

Team White - 13 Players - 1 Spectators per player PLUS *11 extras by pre-request ONLY*

Team Silver - 13 Players - 1 Spectators per player PLUS *11 extras by pre-request ONLY*

PRACTICES - 25 SPECTATORS PER TEAM TRY AND STAY AT 2 SPECTATORS PER PLAYER WITH A MAX OF 50 SPECTATORS

**Please use common sense for practices and don’t bring the whole extended family, on the other hand I fully understand (and have been in this situation before) if you have multiple kids and have no other option but to bring them to the rink, as long as we are under the 50 we are ok.

Civic Center - 150 Spectators (EACH PLAYER IS ALLOWED 5 SPECTATORS no extras just to keep it simple )

Team Sharks - 11 Players -  55 Spectators TOTAL

Team Maroon - 13 Players - 65 Spectators TOTAL

Team Black - 13 Players - 65 Spectators TOTAL

Team Yellow - 13 Players - 65 Spectators TOTAL

Team White - 13 Players - 65 Spectators TOTAL

Team Silver - 13 Players - 65 Spectators TOTAL

PRACTICES - WE WILL KEEP IT AT 5 SPECTATORS PER TEAM

B'ford Arena - 65 Spectators (EACH TEAM IS ALLOWED "30" SPECTATORS PER TEAM THATS IT. NO EXCEPTIONS)

Team Sharks - 11 Players - 2 Spectators per player PLUS *8 extras by pre-request ONLY*

Team Maroon - 13 Players - 2 Spectators per player PLUS *4 extras by pre-request ONLY*

Team Black - 13 Players - 2 Spectators per player PLUS *4 extras by pre-request ONLY*

Team Yellow - 13 Players - 2 Spectators per player PLUS *4 extras by pre-request ONLY*

Team White - 13 Players - 2 Spectators per player PLUS *4 extras by pre-request ONLY*

Team Silver - 13 Players - 2 Spectators per player PLUS *4 extras by pre-request ONLY*

PRACTICES - 2 SPECTATORS PER PLAYER

So just too clarify...This is spectators broken down for "EACH" Team!! I did shave a few off the Total for Civic Center & Battleford Arena just to insure are numbers do not go over. Also, children 2 and under are counted with the parent. Also note that if the covid coordinator stays at the door they do not get counted in the total spectator count but this person may not leave the entrance.  The coaches and the score keepers are also not counted in the total number of spectators.

The "Pre-Request ONLY" means that you can send in a request for extra people a day or two prior too Game day. Once it is full that's it. You cannot just call and have people show up without notifying your Covid Reps first. If this happens and their names are not on the list, they will be asked to leave the arena. Also, if you will not be making it and there is someone else bringing your child after you've entered your name into the Covid App, please inform your Covid Rep of this change.

Example: Tucker Strain - Jolene Strain (Parent) but Tucker’s Grandma wants to go in my place. I contact my Covid Rep and let them know that I am not coming but Lorna Buziak is going in my place.

ALSO...

Example: Team Maroon & Team White are playing at the Don Ross. Team Maroon has their 24 allowed spectators but Team White only has 12 spectators, this does NOT mean that Team Maroon can add 12 more spectators...NOT ALLOWED!! We are trying too keep this as simple and easy as possible

#2 - ARRIVAL TIMES

GAMES - Players - 30 mins ahead @ all 3 Arenas

Spectators - 15 mins Ahead of Game start

PRACTICES - Players/Spectators - 15 mins ahead

*We are still asking at this time too continue to arrive dressed as much as possible.  This allows us to run on time and keep things running smoothly*

#3 - MASKS ARE REQUIRED AND MUST BE WORN PROPERLY AT ALL TIMES UNLESS YOU HAVE PROVIDED BMHA WITH A DOCTORS NOTE (or you are eating or between sips of coffee)!!

**If you have a doctors note please send a copy to your covid rep or myself.

 #4 PRACTICES AND COMBINING BUBBLES

*Starting November 20th we will be combining bubbles.  SHA stated we need a 4-5 day break between playing each team.  Therefor you will play the same team back to back Saturday and Sunday. I have went through our schedule in detail and have scheduled most practices and games together to meet this requirement.  There is one practice on December 10th for the white and  yellow teams that will need to be seperate where players and spectators must not intermingle*

I HOPE THIS ALL MAKES SENSE! :)  IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS AT ALL PLEASE CONTACT ME

Thanks,

Jolene
